This year I've been busy!

In May I farted in an elevator (-6 points). Last Thursday I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points). In April I helped bassist08 across the street (6 points). Last Sunday telluryan and I robbed a bank (-50 points). In July I helped underdog_ontop hide a body (-173 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-204 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Today I finally scanned in all the things I've been meaning to scan in. Doodles from class, mostly. Part 1 with general Dethklok tomfoolery (and some of me since I'm so damn vain), Part 2 tomorrow with Preklok tomfoolery. A lot of these were to entertain my friend in class, and they're usually pertaining to things from the previews for the show.

In posting things I have doodled in the margins of class or on the backs of napkins, I encourage all artists to post their doodles, because I love fanart, it is nifty to look at.

BONUS: This art dump also includes a picture I drew from DnD that has nothing to do with Dethklok, but is quite..ah..well, special.

Today I was helping my Mom and Dad rake the leaves in the backyard. This summer Dad replaced all the stones on the patio with very nice new ones. Dad announced during raking that he had a proclamation to make and we all needed to pay close attention. Okay, guys, this is the Word of my Father. Pay close attention.

"This is my proclamation. From this point forward, all raking shall be done directed away from the patio, on the lawn. No raking shall be done on the patio"

This has been a rough week. My computer broke last week ago, and I have been unable to fix it, meaning I was unable to get any of the many things I had to do last week done.

This morning my grandfather passed away. We've been in and out of the hospital visiting him all week. He's been sick for a very long while due to a House-esque turn of events. I really was hoping he'd get better. He passed very peacefully and surrounded by all of my family (so much family) and he was very very sick and lead a very long and eventful life, so I feel at peace with it, I'm not worried about what will become of my grandmother because she has many people to help her and she is a strong independent woman. I am just profoundly sad, though. I feel like I'll never be happy again. :|

So, not the relaxing week home I was hoping for. Now I'm desperately sad and have a ton of work to do, which I will be putting on hold for a week.

I drove up to school to get a few things and tidy up some affairs. Tuesday I'm driving all the way back home for the wake and funeral. I'm going to tell work that I can't work until next semester, because there are 2 weeks left in the semester, and this week I will be in Boston, and next week I will be working to catch up for the last 3 weeks missed work.

What this is rambling. I guess my point is :C and :C and I miss the dethklok fandom and hanging out in iScribble and having free time to draw silly dethklok stuff.

Also, I recieved a special gift today. When I returned to school, my noodly Toki plushie from Twonkie was there. Many months overdue, but, frankly, today of all days is the perfect day to have recieved him. I squee'd and tossed him around and hugged him and made him hug my Offdensen doll and I love his little face. So, Twonkie, I want to say thank you for cheering me up tremendously. I can't help but smile when I hug and hold him. Thank you so much :)

My computer is giving me the same BSOD as it was earlier this semester. Unfortunately, this time, taking out the video card and jiggling it a bit didn't help any. I'm running diagnostics on it now and using my sister's old laptop in the meantime. While I'm glad there's a spare here for me to use, this PC really kind of sucks. Vista? Less powerful machine? Well fuck this thing.

I have so much work to do over the break that I need Flash for it's not even funny, I don't know what I'm going to do if I can't fix my PC. Cry? A lot? Freak out? Gut my sister's PC and try to turn it into a facade of my old one? I don't have my install disks for Adobe Creative Suite 3, which blows. Also Vista blows. Jesus this thing blows :(

What also sucks is my PC ka-blooie'd after I got online to talk furiously about how fucking amazing last night's Metalocalypse was. I'm going to go re-watch it to make me happy <:\ Oh Toki, there needs to be a whole show done in your crazy fantasy vision with you singing :3

Here is my report from Canada. It has absolutely nothing to do with the game conference itself because that is business. It has everything to do with candy, strip joints, and some pictures that were also on my phone that I've been meaning to upload for a while.

So I was pretty worried going up that we'd have to stay in a hostel, since our accommodations were at the YWCA, and the people who went last year had said that it was a hostel. I even brought my flip-flops just in case but, fuck, do I hate public bathrooms/showers. Especially co-ed public showers.

When I checked out my roommate's and my room and found the bathroom with shower, I jumped for joy. We stayed at the hotel part of the YWCA. It even had a TV!! Score!!!

Turns out there was reason to worry because some students did stay at the hostel on the 6th floor, while we were shacked up in the nicer 7th floor. Very nice. For me.

The first night there we went out and wandered around with some folks. Mainly, looking for poutine, because damn fuck is poutine awesome.

For those who have never had the pleasure of having it, poutine is a Canadian dish...french fries covered in gravy and cheese curds. Dear sweet god, delicious.

We found the Irish Embassy wandering around.

Then we found this great chicken place with great poutine and great chicken. The waiters in every other country other than America are polite and don't fucking harass you every 2 seconds and will leave you alone after you're done eating and not immediately get the check for you and rush your dishes away. I enjoyed this.

We wandered down more and found the, uh, I guess the red light district. Peep-shows and stripclubs everywhere!! EVERWHERE!!! We could see the light from this sign 5 blocks down and just had to see what it was.

My cameraphone kind of blows. Anyway, BEHOLD! The SUPER SEXE. Not pictured: The fucking great sign next to it that was just as big and portrayed, in giant neon, animated pictures of what you might find in such an establishment. Scantily clad women with ghostly white hands moving around their bodies. My favorite was one of a giant ass sticking in the face of some dude in the suit while the dude pats her ass. "Oh, so THAT is what the Super Sexe is for. I never would've found out if I hadn't seen this handy-dandy picture guide in 20 foot tall neon lights"

I lied about this having nothing to do with the game conference. I did take a picture of the giant picture of the Dude From Assassin's Creed II in the lobby. It was very, very pretty.

This, ah, doesn't look pretty though. Just blurry.

So what did I take away from this experience? A fuckload of candy!!!

Not pictured: The Cadbury hazelnut chocolate bar and aero bar that I already ate :3 So a friend of mine who eats more candy than any being I've ever known mentioned to me that I should check out the candy selection here, because Canada has a lot of different candy bars. I found that yes, yes it did, mostly Cadbury, which I've heard is a kickass candy company. We only ever get their creme eggs around easter here, and I love them to death. So I got some candy. Then later I bought more candy. I ended up getting 7 candy bars. Hurr :V C'mon gotta try out the foreign cuisine...!!

Like the WUNDERBAR. Look, it has a little viking hat on and everything. I had this earlier and it was quite tasty.

This is an octopus I made out of my kneaded eraser in art class when I got bored last week. He has a keen propeller beanie and ice-cream cone.

This is a terrible photo of the toys on my desk. Toki is flanked by a unicorn and a cheery little turtle. Note the white thing under his foot is double sided tape, I had to use it to secure all of my adult swim figures to my desk since none of them stand the fuck up.

This is a mysterious wooden board we found propped up next to our house one morning. "That looks like Bob Ross" I told my roommate. Upon closer inspection we found it was Bob Ross, along with his date of birth, death, and a quote of his. The board was covered in dirt and looked like it had just been dug up. Our landlord has been doing a lot of work in the yard, putting in pipes and stuff and digging junk up, so he must've unearthed it.

WTF why is there a memorial to Bob Ross buried in our yard. Is....is Bob Ross there too? :|

GOOD THING THAT CAME FROM GETTING LOST: Last time I drove home to school, I got lost, frustrated, drove into a curb, and my check engine light went on. Fuck.

As for the getting lost thing: Marty your directions were great, I found 93 right away and started calming down and celebrating my victory over Boston (literally, I was so fucking happy because I was starting to freak out a little and I felt like I had just slew a lake troll)

Only to find the ramp onto 93 North was closed, so I had to go South. Cue me desperately trying to find a good place to turn around. I thought, hey, I'll just get off and there will be an entry to 93 North right there! Oh fuck that didn't work I'm lost oh god oh god oh god there's 93 south again thank god well at least I know I'm on the right highway, wrong direction.

I eventually turned around....in Quincey....after freaking out at my Dad on the phone.

So. Yeah. Didn't sleep a wink last night because I was still so jazzed about the concert and meeting up with my good buddies online, and also seriously bothered by anxiety about driving and meeting people and stuff.

I just had a nice nap and had a nightmare where on the way home to school, I accidentally ended up in New York City <:|

You may notice is has my name on it. I was inspired by Gears to make something that I want the creator of Dethklok to actually see. I'm going to the concert Tuesday night and while trying to get an autograph or two I might as well give Brendon Small some stupid fanart, too, because while it has been my utmost pleasure to draw creepy Dr. Rockzo's to amuse myself and the good folks on LJ, it would be pretty nifty to see the creator of it all actually see one of the utterly ridiculous doodles he inspired.

I really do want an autograph also though. That would be kickass. I hope the techs don't only let the hot chicks get through to get autographs!!! C'mon guys, not everyone on the world wants to sleep with the band, some people just want to give them stupid shit and get an autograph!

I had a dream last night that kind of devolved into a rather scary dream. At one point I went into a room, and there were cardboard cutouts of scary looking Dr. Rockzo's everywhere.

I'm all fulla candy. I think I has diabetes. I gotsa take a fuckin' nap.

Today at my Women in Technology meeting, we made candy sushi. I took a twinkie, then frosted it with white frosting, then put perennials on it, then cut it up and rolled the pieces in sour fruit by the foot for the "seaweed", then stuck pieces of swedish fish and mini-oreos and such into them. Also used some rice crispie treats as "rice" and stuck candy on top of that. Top it all off with some green frosting "wasabi" and then eat, then feel violently ill for eating a metric shit ton of candy. Yes. And frosted twinkies.

And I've been checking the mail obsessively for the past week for a purty bracelet I won for the MSMD contest, but it never came ;_;

It's bad enough that the mail around here comes anytime between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm, like it did tonight. So I never know if I just didn't get any mail that day, or it hasn't come yet. SO MUCH CHECKING.

Did I give out my wrong address for both things!?!? This has happened before. Is this my fault!??! Is it the mail's fault!??!

Attention world: What?

So my long story short for the past 2 days my parents have been getting boatloads of calls from people, companies really, saying that I have signed up for this that or the other thing. A dating website, for an electric scooter, weird shit. The last woman my Dad talked to, he specifically asked where she got her information, and she said it was from a Yahoo e-mail.

So, clearly, someone's been using my name and home-phone number. This is weird for 1 reason: I haven't used my home phone number since mid high-school, when I got a cell phone.

Good thing: My bank account hasn't had any weird transaction, so at least nobody's stealing from me!

Bad thing: My folks keep getting a bunch of phone calls, and it's pissing them off! Dad called today to ask if I was in a practical joke war with someone. I said no, not to my knowledge, and if I was I'd be pretty mad that someone was doing that to my folks.

I'm mad now because I know that he thinks I'm responsible for this, despite not actually saying that. I've always thought of myself as a very protective person with my identity online. That's loosened in recent years now that I've gained more independence but I still don't just give out a whole bunch of information. Also, I never give my parent's home phone number, like I said.

So...what the hell? Is someone deliberately trying to be a douchebag to me, and using my folk's home number in some misguided attempt at douchebaggery? Has someone or some internet trawler really signed me up for a million stupid things? And if so, why? It's not for money! Someone using Yahoo, whoever it is!!

Is it one of you guys...??!?! Who have I ever pissed off? I can't really think of anyone who I've pissed off who would have my home phone number. And I can't really think of anyone I've pissed off, at all, to that degree.

So I am very, very, very weirded out by all of this. Also I feel terrible for my folks, who are getting all of those calls. I do feel good, however, that it's not me getting them :3

I just woke up from the wierdest frickin' dream.

Anyway so I'm chilling downstairs and turn on the TV, and it's in the middle of a new episode of Metalocalypse! That is so freaking weird I can't describe it here. Suffice to say, at one point, Ofdensen is dressed up in weird robe-armor-things like He-Man only way less gay and way more covered up, and Father Orlaag is a head in a jar with lots of spiny tentacle things coming out.

Anyway I do what I would normally do in such a situation and immediately log into my LJ account and start composing a post. As I think back to the bizarre fucking turn of events, including Metalocalypse being on at 10:00 in the morning and showing an episode that was actually a second part to a two-part episode (Pickles-centric, I recally) and I'm like "Oh, it must've been a dream", and I edit my post accordingly, being all "Man, isn't that freaking weird?" and all.

And then I woke up again and thought about it and went "Man, my dreams are way to fucking boring if all I dream about it tooling around online and having dreams within dreams about new episodes of Metalocalypse. Maybe I need some help"

My excuse is I am sick. Clearly the fevered dreams of a madman.
